Destroy 'Plan B'
Eliminate your escape routes. The only way out is through.

Most men fail before they even begin.
They leave themselves an escape, a way out, a Plan B. They convince themselves they’re committed, but deep down, they know they can quit the moment things get hard.
That’s why they never achieve anything great.
"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles."
— Sun Tzu
The universe does not reward half-measures. A man who gives himself the option to retreat will always take it.
Here’s a brutal truth most people don’t want to admit:
Hunger wins. Desperation wins. A man with no way back will fight harder than one who can quit.
Imagine two men in a boxing ring. One is fighting for glory; he trained for this, but he knows if he loses, there’s always another fight. The other is fighting for his life. If he loses, his family starves. Who do you think will win?
Now, apply that to your own life.
When Cortez and his men landed in the New World, he ordered one thing: Burn the ships. No escape. No retreat. Victory or death.
But here you are, telling yourself you’re “all in” while keeping your ships in perfect condition.
You have escape routes. You have excuses. You have backup plans. And the moment things get tough, you’ll run to them; just like every other man who never made it.
If you want to win, burn the boats. Make failure impossible. Give yourself no way back.
The Action Plan:
1. Identify Your Escape Routes
Look at every major goal in your life. What is your "way out"?
Where are you leaving yourself an excuse to fail?
It could be a safety net, a backup plan, or the thought of “if this doesn’t work, I’ll just do something easier.”
Destroy that thought. If you know there’s an exit, you’ll take it the moment things get tough.
2. Make Public Declarations
Tell people what you’re going to do and set a deadline.
Make it impossible to back out without looking weak. Pressure creates action.
3. Cut Off Your Comforts
If you're serious about something, invest in it.
Put money, time, and energy into it so that quitting would mean losing everything.
If necessary, create consequences; if you fail, you owe someone money, a public admission, or something painful.
4. Kill the ‘Plan B’ Mentality
The most dangerous words are: "If this doesn’t work, I’ll just do something else."
The only way out is through. No distractions. No other options.
5. Force the Leap
At some point, you must step into the fire.
No perfect moment is coming. No sign from the universe will appear.
Decide. Cut off all exits. Go all in.
Your Ultimatum:
Right now, you are either fully in the game or you are playing it safe. And if you are playing it safe, you have already lost.
Tell yourself the truth: Are you really committed, or are you just testing the waters?
Because the moment things get hard, the moment doubt creeps in, the moment you feel like quitting, you will take the exit you left for yourself.
The men who win are the ones who refuse to retreat. The ones who wake up every day with one path forward. The ones who put themselves in a position where failure is not an option.
So decide: Will you stay on the shore, or will you burn the boats?
No more safety nets. No more escape routes. No more half-measures.
It starts now.
